Aigrettes

Aigrettes is a powerful reef break on the west coast of La Réunion, offering consistent and challenging waves favored by experienced surfers. The spot works best on south and southwest swells, producing fast, sometimes hollow rides over shallow reef. Strong currents and the presence of sharp coral add to the challenge, making it unsuitable for beginners. The area is scenic but also known for shark activity, so extra caution is required. Local knowledge is important to navigate the entry and exit safely.
