An exposed beach break inside the Sintra-Cascais natural park that catches almost every swell the Atlantic sends, and almost every bit of wind with it. That combination made it a windsurfing and kitesurfing world cup venue; for surfers it means Guincho is reliably big and reliably blown out by early afternoon. Dawn sessions on a light offshore are the reason to come. Strong rips and cold water year-round.
