Also known as Ribeira de Ilhas, Ribeira dIlhas

Intermediate Point break Reef bottom Peels right 0.8–3 m Mid tide

The centrepiece of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve and the most forgiving of the region's quality right-handers. A long, workable right peels down a rock and cobble point in front of a natural amphitheatre, holding its shape through several sections. It handles a wide range of sizes, which is why it has hosted European and world tour events for decades and why it is the one Ericeira wave an improving surfer can realistically take on.
