Chicama

The longest left-hand point break in the world. Chicama can produce rides over 2km long when conditions align, with waves peeling for 3-4 minutes through multiple sections. The wave breaks over sand and rock bottom along a desert coastline. Made famous as a surf destination since the 1970s, it remains a bucket-list wave for goofy-footers worldwide. Best during the Peruvian winter when cold currents generate consistent swells.
