A long, exposed sandy beach below the Famara cliffs with a succession of shifting beach-break peaks. It picks up north and north-west Atlantic swell and has room to spread out, making smaller, clean days useful for beginners and intermediates. Rips and wind can become serious as size rises.

Getting there
Access the beach from Caleta de Famara. Use a supervised or populated section where possible, and avoid drifting far down the long beach in strong wind or current.
