A fast, powerful left-hand point wave that wraps along Madeira's south-west coast. It needs substantial west or south-west swell and can provide long walls, but the takeoff, rocks and exit by the seawall demand experience. This is a serious Atlantic point break rather than a sheltered resort wave.

Check from the Jardim do Mar seafront before entering. Access and exit are over rock around the village seawall; do not paddle out without a clear plan for both.
