Angourie Point

Intermediate Point break Cobble bottom Peels right 0.8–3 m Mid tide

Australia's first National Surfing Reserve and one of its most celebrated right-hand points. A classic cobble-and-rock point that peels for long, fast, racy sections with the odd barrel, protected from northerlies. Bob McTavish and Nat Young shaped their surfing here; it still delivers quiet, world-class rides with far fewer crowds than the Gold Coast.
