Beginner Beach break Sand bottom Peels both 0.3–1 m Mid tide

A sheltered lagoon halfway between El Jadida and Oualidia town that is Morocco's premier learn-to-surf spot: a small, sand-bottom beach break inside the protected inlet that is safe, mellow and tide-managed. It is genuinely a beginner's wave rather than a destination spot — the lagoon is tiny and shuts down above waist-high — but it is the most accessible place on the Moroccan coast for a first lesson, set among oyster farms and cliffs.
