Palomino

A laid-back river-mouth beach break where the Río Palomino meets the Caribbean on Colombia's La Guajira coast. River mouth sandbars combine with Caribbean swell to produce shifting peaks suitable for intermediate surfers. Avoid the main river channel mouth on outgoing current, and expect jellyfish and other sea creatures in the warm water.
