A right-hand reef point on the north side of the Baleal isthmus and the answer when Supertubos is closing out. Lagide breaks over a flat rock shelf and offers a long, mechanical, forgiving right that is far more predictable than the sandbanks around it — it is one of the few Peniche waves an intermediate can surf on a big day. It needs size to work and gets very shallow at low tide over the reef.

Getting there
North side of the Baleal isthmus, walk left from the Baleal car park. Enter over the flat rock at the top of the point and time it with a set; avoid the reef at low tide.
