Brittany's most consistent and powerful spot: a rocky point at the Pointe de la Torche that picks up any Atlantic swell and offers a long, workable right over a boulder-and-sand bottom, plus beach breaks on the inside. It holds size better than almost anywhere in northern France and is the venue for French national championships. Cold water, strong current and a boulder bottom make it a spot for competent surfers.
