An exposed beach break on Uruguay's Atlantic coast with fairly consistent surf. Cabo Polonio offers both lefts and rights, favoured by southwest groundswells and east-northeast winds, with the best conditions around low tide. It is rarely crowded, but rips are a documented hazard.
