Perhaps the longest sand-bottom left barrel in the world. Skeleton Bay emerged as a surfable wave in the 2000s when sand dredging created a perfect point setup. Waves can peel for 2km+ on good swells. Located in the harsh, remote Skeleton Coast, it requires 4WD access and self-sufficiency. Cold water, fog, and isolation add to the challenge.
