Mirissa

An exposed reef break on Sri Lanka's south coast with fairly consistent surf outside the summer flat period. Mirissa favours southwest groundswells and north offshore winds, and the reef produces both left- and right-hand sections. When it is working, crowds are likely; urchins and rocks are documented hazards.
