The heaviest wave on the planet. Teahupo'o breaks over extremely shallow reef, producing thick, square barrels with massive amounts of water pitching over surfers' heads. The wave is known for its unique 'slab' shape and the infamous 'Code Red' swells that produce 20+ foot faces. Host to the 2024 Paris Olympics surfing events and a WSL Championship Tour stop, it represents the ultimate challenge in big wave surfing.
