Advanced Rivermouth break Sand bottom Peels left 1–4 m Low tide

A rivermouth left at the mouth of the Villaviciosa estuary that is one of the best waves in Spain when the sand lines up. It peels along a sandbar over a shallow bottom, fast and bowly on the good days, and can hold size better than the open Asturias beach breaks. The river flow rebuilds the bar after big swells, so it is seasonal and shifty.
